Rudte Godrey, born as Rudite Mazure in Riga, 1963.

Rudite Godfrey was born in Latvia SSR and through hard work and dedication was accepted to the prestigious College of Applied Arts (Lietiskas Makslas Koledza) in 1981 where she received a classical art education with speciality in Metal Design. She then attended Latvia's National Art Academy (Makslas Akademija) and received a B.A. in Painting and Drawing in 1991. During this time she was an Art Instructor and Lecturer at the College of Applied Arts.

During the Latvian Revolution, Rudite fled with her two children to Sweden.There she studied at University College of Arts, Craft, and Design (Konstfack) and received a M.A. in Metal Design in 1996.

Rudite was an expert in porcelain restoration specializing in Maison and Lladro. She also continued as a Art Teacher and Entrepreneur. Rudite has participated in many Exhibitions, including "150 Rings" in Stockholm/Brussels/Warsaw, "Noble Tendencies" at Stockholm's Historical Museum, "Forms, Lines, and Shadows" in Sundbyberg, and "The Aries and the Virgo" in Galleri Aniara, Sollentuna.

Since 2000, Rudite has been living in Orange, California.
